Everything you record — period days, flow, mood, cramps and notes — is stored locally on your device. Luteum has no user accounts, contains no analytics or advertising SDKs, and makes no network requests to transmit your health data. We do not collect, receive, sell or share your information, because we never receive it in the first place.
If you use iPhone backup, whether to iCloud or to a computer, the app's local data is included in that backup. Those backups are held and protected by Apple under Apple's terms, not ours. Luteum itself never transmits your data anywhere.
Luteum is free. You can optionally leave a one-time tip through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Those transactions are processed entirely by Apple; Luteum records only that a gift was made, on your device. We never see your name, your payment details, or your Apple Account.
If you turn on period reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device from your own logged data. No reminder content is ever sent to a server. You can choose discreet wording so nothing identifying appears on your lock screen.
Luteum is intended for people aged 13 and over. It collects no information from anyone, of any age — there is no account and no server — so there is nothing held about a child or an adult, and nothing to retain, disclose or erase.
Data protection law, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, gives you rights of access, correction, erasure and portability over personal data held about you. Because Luteum holds no personal data about you on any system we control, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or erase. You exercise these rights directly, on your device, using the export and delete controls described above.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published here and the date above updated. Material changes will also be surfaced in the app.
